when tech serves humanity, the future gets it right !
The Good Samaritan is proud to announce that its geolocation system is fully operational across all continents and already validated, with its first Helpers and Helpees having become active members of the community. In addition to many other countries, The Good Samaritan app was also successfully tested and validated in 10 cities in Morocco during the summer of 2025, revealing that Moroccans are natural Good Samaritans enthusiastic about helping, earning tokens, and quickly becoming familiar with the app (QR codes, word of mouth). Paris and its region, Normandy, as well as the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi), have also confirmed the robustness of the app’s engagement and the human & social impact of the project.
We are delighted to have been nominated (shortlisted) for the World Summit Awards, which is a tremendous honor, especially as the idea was born at the United Nations in New York, during UNGA sessions chaired by the founder Rahma RACHDI, “Assistive Tech Promotes the Inclusion of Disabled People.” In front of a panel of famous scientists over the 17 SDG’s she issued a challenge: “I will prove that a disabled woman can create her own application, in service of other disabled people.” Three and a half years later, The Good Samaritan App was born and is now moving forward very fast and across the world, ahead of its official and imminent launch celebration in Morocco, in the presence of Helpers, Helpees, journalist but most importantly the special guests: people with disabilities.
